The construction of the new IMED Valencia Hospital progress at a good pace

Press Releases | 10 de Noviembre de 2016

The new private Hospital IMED Valencia, located in the beginning of the track of Ademuz on the town of Burjassot, will be a fact starting 2017. The construction progress at a good pace as we can see from the outside of the building. On the last months the concrete base structure that was done a year ago now is creating a modern building with special characteristics like outside glazing, a metal cover that will recover part of the building for Outpatients’ Clinic and a big walkway  that will connect the two main structures from the building on the 9th and 10th floor.

Managers from IMED and AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets, acting on behalf of its clients,- the society that has coordinated and supervised the investment for the construction and start up of the building- have visited the future hospital today, to value firsthand the progress of the construction that is turning the building in a hospital that wants to be the reference of the city of Valencia and that will consolidate the project of IMED Hospitals in the Community. We want to outline that AXA Investment Managers - Real Assets managed the investment on behalf of its clients, while IMED Hospitals took on the direct management of the center, using their knowledge about the sector for more than 12 years of experience.

IMED Valencia will be a general hospital that will have nearly all the medical specialties, it will have a 24 hours emergency service, ICU (including neonatal and pediatric ICU), an advanced area of diagnostic imaging and medical surgical specialized units that will provide the best and more innovating diagnostic techniques. The hospital will have 185 single rooms, over 100 offices for outpatients’ clinic and 15 theatres.

IMED Valencia will be the first private hospital created that will be constructed in Valencia on the last decades and will be provided with all new medical technology. The centre will have agreements with national and international insurance companies.
